What I learned from horse coaching

The herd we worked with — L>R — Tessa, Ari, Jack, Mystic and Magic
Jack
  • I all too often stand back and wait until others have taken what they want before I decide what I want to claim and whether “I’m allowed” to claim it
  • I have regularly submitted to matriarchs and other dominant personalities because I’m afraid to stand my ground
  • I believed in my unworthiness and my lack of loveability for a long time — it felt like watching an old favourite film — familiar, recognisable and out-dated
  • I have often shown my strength through teenage-based domination and intimidation — if I put my boundaries up and reject you first, you can’t reject me
  • If I soften my energy, embrace my Divine Feminine energy and lay down my walls, I can allow the Divine Masculine energy to hold space, protect and comfort me
  • I have as much right as others to claim importance and take up space
  • I don’t need to exist as an island. I am allowed to lean on others, as I allow them to lean on me. The herd needs all individual members functioning and looking after themselves so that it can be strong as a unit
